Here's further proof that Newfoundlanders and Irish people are the same
WHEN WE FIRST saw this amazing video of a Canadian mammy sounding suspiciously like an Irish mammy, we were struck by how similar Newfoundland people are to us Irish folk.
Now, we present you with even more evidence that Irish people and Newfoundlanders are EXACTLY the same.
Actor Allan Hawco tried to explain some Newfoundlandese slang to Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos (bit of a mouthful) on his show the other night.
George isn’t getting it, but we think Allan is making perfect sense – don’t you?
What part of “What’s after happening now?” don’t you understand, George? It’s crystal clear.
